About

Angelina Berzhaner is a Swiss contemporary visual artist whose practice explores the intersections of cross-cultural narratives and the depths of human consciousness. A graduate of ECAL (École cantonale d'art de Lausanne) with a BFA, Berzhaner's work delves into the complex relationships between color, dreams, and the spiritual essence of humanity.

Berzhaner's artistic process is characterized by vibrant, painterly compositions that transform into immersive chromatic fields. These works serve as portals to intimate, dreamlike spaces, inviting viewers to engage as co-creators in a dialogue with the ineffable. Her primary goal is to map the spectator's consciousness, using art as a catalyst to stimulate imagination and explore the inner world of the viewer.

Drawing from her multidisciplinary background in art, design, and history, Angelina Berzhaner integrates scientific inquiry with artistic expression to examine the duality of material and spiritual existence. This synthesis informs her ability to craft works that resonate on both personal and universal levels. Her artistic vision employs primary, bright colors to forge connections with the fundamental aspects of human consciousness, celebrating liberation and joy while fostering introspection.

Berzhaner's works have gained international recognition, with exhibitions at prestigious venues including La Biennale di Venezia (Italy), The Holy Art Gallery (London), Capital Cultural House (Madrid), and El Barrio's Artspace (New York). Her practice continues to evolve as she navigates themes of identity, imagination, and transcendence within the contemporary art landscape, solidifying her position as an emerging voice in the field.
